Summary :

Anastasia Steel, a young student, has to substitute his roomate for an interview of the famous businessman Cristian Grey. At first glance, she is charmed by this mysterious guy. But, behind his good manner, is hidden a dark and tortured side. She had never felt in love of someone and for the first time, she likes a man. They are totally different, so she tries to forget him, but at each time he comes back...

Everybody says he likes her, but is it true ? Can she trust him ?

Opinion :

I discovered this saga with the first movie, and I bought the trilogie in frensh just few weeks later. I read the two first novel, and it was a big crush ! That's why, I decided to bought them in English with my birthday's money ! Again, I love it ! I don't understand how much I can like them... Again, it was a big BIG crush !

I have to avoid that I was afraid during the two first chapters... I had the feeling... It was like I understood nothing. There were a lot of new words... But finally, I acclimated at writer's style, and I devoured it ! Pages after pages, I cannot stop myself ! Fortunately, I was in holiday, so I can read when I wanted...

I knew the storie, but despite that, I felt like I discovered it again... I was fabulous ! I don't know why I like it so much... They are something... At each time, I forgot everything, and read page after page Christian and Ana's aventure ! I don't know what I can say in more... Maybe Read it ! Dispite the fact of the submission, it's especially a romance... A Beautiful love storie, between two young people who discover how they can love... In a word, all of what I love !

Of course, I love this novel, thanks to Christian ! He is so attractive, so mysterious and so kind too... I mean, I know he is also manipulator and want to control everybody... I don't like who he is in the red Chamber of pain, but, it's impossible not seeing how much he loves her, and how much he want to their relation works... I'm on a cloud as soon as he is here... Ana is nice too. She looks like me, or maybe it's rather me who looks like her. I love his subconscience... She is really funny ! Like kate, I love how she tries to help Ana and does in contrary the opposite !

I think it was because it's writen in English, but the scenes in the playroom are more difficult to read than in French... This is probaly because I read word by word, so when I imagine the scene I saw directly what words mean whereas in French, it's more abstrait, without forgetting, I understand the implicite or subtilities ! I love this part too, because I discover the text in a new light...

The end is very good... I never tired of read this book and especially the end. I understand why Ana do it, but in the other end, she has exactely what she wanted... The last pages are wonderful ! I only want one thing : read the following books ! I don't know if it would be the book two or the storie told by Christian !

I push open the door and stumble through, tripping over my own feet and falling headfirst into the office.
Double crap - me and my two left feet ! I am on my hands and knees in the doorway to Mr. Grey's office, and gentle hands are around me, helping me to stand. I am so embarrassed, damn my clumsiness. I have to steel myself to glance up. Holy cow - he's so young.
"Miss Kavanagh." He extends a long-fingered hand to me once I'm upright. "I'm Christian Grey. Are you all right ? Would you like to sit ?"
So young - and attractive, very attractive. He's tall, dressed in a fine grey suit, white shirt, and black tie with unruly dark coppercolored hair and intense, bright gray eyes that regard me schrewdly. It takes a moment for me to find my voice.
"Um. Actually -" I mutter. If this guy is over thirty, then I'm a monkey's uncle. In a daze, I place my hand in his and we shake. As our fingers touch, I feel an odd exhilarating shiver run through me. I withdraw my hand hastily, embarrassed. Must be static. I blink rapidly, my eyelids matching my heart rate.
