Opinion :
For use my Pass Culture (less 8 € on a book bought), i decided to buy a English Novel. Twilight was not my first choice, but in the store, I didn't find what I wanted. When I buy it, I laid it in my PAL placard during few months. But since the "Toussain" holliday, I wanted to read it, to discover the story in English...
I read this first book in less than 2 weeks. I put so much time, because I had many test at school, so not time for read ! I like this novel ! I think I prefer the original version, I often had the impression that feelings were more important, or more exprimed ! Anyway, I was more affected...
The story is interesting, of course. But it's alway a little "cu-cu la praline", naif. There are not a lot of suspense, however the text is easy to follow, in English (like in Frensh). The elements are not difficult. I would have liked a little bit more... In the same time, at my first reading, I loved it, so... It's maybe insofar as I grew up !
The caracters are very cool : I love them ! Especially the Cullen of course. Bella is more enervating, and annoying... On the other side, the protected reaction of Edward shoked me, like the scene at the end in the car... I hadn't this feeling during my reading in French, it's strange ! Alice and Jasper are very endearing and sympathics !
The end is like the rest of the novel : interresting, but much simple... It seemed too long... Perhaps, it was because I was tired ! I'm sure I will read the second book in English... It's my second big book reading entirely in English, and even if there were passage that I didn"t understand full (like the description of the beach), I found my reading relatively easy ! It only remains for me to buy it !
A beautiful discovery for the original version !

It was there, sitting in the lunchroom, trying to make conversation with seven curious strangers, that I first saw them.
They were sitting in the corner of the cafeteria, as far away from where I sat as possible in the long room. There were five of them. They weren't talking, and they weren't eating, though they each had a tray of untouched food in front of them. They weren't gawking at me, unlike most of the other students, so it was safe to stare them without fear of meeting an excessively interested pair of eyes. But it was none of these things that caught, and held, my attention.
